It is odd, but two weeks ago when I last posted on the blog it hadn’t occurred to me that we would be remembering the tenth anniversity of that tragic day when so many lives were lost and our country seemingly changed and the very thing that the experts in terrorism had been warning about that could occur in the United States since the 1970’s had finally on a larger scale than the domestic terror attack that was Oklahoma City some years before.
While I wish there is something poetic or moving I could write there is nothing I can add other to say look around and appreciate the ones that are in your life and the fact that you are alive.
Life may not be everything you would hope it would be at this point and time and this blog is a internet testimony in part to that emotion that I currently feel, but also a testimony to the hope and belief that no matter how old that one can change course and continue to grow as a person.
Today just serves as a reminder that nothing should ever be taken for granted.
